How we handle your personal data

This notice is a template and must be reviewed by legal counsel before it is relied upon.
This notice explains what personal data ACALAS collects through this website, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and what you can require of us. It is written to the disclosure obligation under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) No. 6698.

What we collect
Only what you type into the contact form on this site:

What we do not collect
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and does not profile visitors. No video, image or biometric data of any kind is collected through this website.
Purpose and legal basis
Your data is processed for one purpose: to answer your enquiry and, if you ask for it, to arrange an evaluation. The legal basis is Article 5(2)(f) of the KVKK — processing necessary for our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights — and, where you have supplied the data yourself in order to be contacted, Article 5(2)(c) in connection with pre-contractual steps.
Your data is not used for marketing lists, is not sold, and is not shared with third parties for their own purposes.
Transfer
Form submissions are handled by our hosting and form-delivery providers solely as data processors acting on our instructions. Where a processor operates outside Turkiye, the transfer is limited to what is required to deliver the message to us. We will name the current processors here on request.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted. If a commercial relationship begins, the retention periods in the resulting contract apply instead. You may ask for deletion sooner at any time.
Your rights under KVKK Article 11
As a data subject you have the right to:

- 04Know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Turkiye or abroad
- 05Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate

- 07Require that any correction or erasure be notified to third parties the data was transferred to
- 08Object to a result reached solely by automated analysis that works against you
- 09Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing
How to exercise them
Write to info@acalas.com from the address you contacted us with, stating which right you are exercising. We respond within 30 days at the latest, free of charge unless the request requires a disproportionate effort. If you are not satisfied with the outcome you may complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK Kurumu).
Changes
If this notice changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new date.
